For over two decades, Andreini has been the locals' favorite and a beloved destination for coffee and atmosphere in the center of Arroyo Grande, CA. For most of that, the cafe was known as Cafe Andreini Coffeehouse. When we partnered to discuss brand strategy and identity design, we decided that the old name was a larger mouthful than their famous paninis. So we officially shortened the name to match the way regulars refer to it anyway and created a new visual identity that features a modern monogram with a fun surprise in the counterspace, embodying the legacy and ambition of an established and growing local brand.
A coffee specialist, Andreini is also an all-day cafe that serves a variety of beverages and food. A clean, adaptable monogram and logo system allows that story to be told is a way both playful and classy, elevating the local cafe's brand image and maintaining versatility with a bold, monochromatic black-and-white color scheme.
"What a great experience it was to work alongside Jay re-branding our café logo. He was extremely helpful and patient with us during the process. From the start, we could tell he cared about this project. He asked us questions about our mission statement, goals, and brand essence to really get to know our café. Thank you, Jay, for working with us and being so helpful! We love our new logo!"
