Movement Day
Launched in 2010 as a multi-day gathering of ministry, marketplace and non-profit leaders, Movement Day is an initiative of The New York City Leadership Center, a not-for-profit ministry focused on training Christian leaders to impact their cities. In collaboration with Colours & Shapes, we evolved their visual identity with stronger, more mature and timeless typography; organized their brand architecture; and built a platform for scaling the brand and its applications through a growing network of partners, including a brand style guide and design prototypes and templates for print, digital and merchandise.

Brand Architecture
Movement Day's approach — multiply the impact of one through the unity of many — has led to growth beyond NYC and the core event to include partners throuought the world. To manage the visual identity and organize and clarify the increasing number of entities, we created a color-coded sub-brand system to make telling them apart simple and easy, as well as guidelines for creating additional logos.

Design Prototypes
Without a centralized creative department, it's difficult to maintain brand integrity throughout a quickly growing and varied network of partners. We created design templates for components such as posters, tee shirts, print and web, as well as guidelines for producing additional communication pieces that includes messaging, color, typography, photography and logo use.
