International Justice Mission frees slaves. Their lawyers, social workers, activists and professionals around the world literally free slaves, bring criminals to justice and strengthen justice systems to protect the poor from violence in the developing world. Mister Jones has been honored to contribute to their efforts with branding and art direction for print, digital, environmental, and global giving and engagement campaigns.
IJM's annual Global Prayer Gathering convenes to boldly pray for the freedom of every child, woman and man being abused, trafficked and enslaved across our world. For the art direction, we pushed IJM's brand look with a layered photo/graphic treatment that leverages the equity of the previous year's branding (with its diamond patterns) that is also strong, relentless and contemporary.
The charge for IJM's campaign, Until All Are Free, was an identity that visualizes the reality of modern-day slavery real, portrays the stark contrast between slavery and freedom, and captures the bolder, more progressive side of IJM. A campaign style guide helped partners and the internal team roll out the national campaign.
IJM released a study guide companion to a book by its CEO and launched both at the IF:Gathering, a national women's event, along with a featured photo exhibit. We collaborated on the design of both, appealing to the demographic and exhibiting IJM's more emotive, accessible side, and provided art direction and for the study guide.
